Description

Microwave system with vessels of public type of STARplus for preparation of tests with an atmospheric pressure for definition of heavy metals and toxic elements by instrumental methods.

STARplus simplifies decomposition of oils, polymeric materials, foodstuff and forages, vegetable and animal fabrics, drain waters and products of water purification, soils, inorganic and organic reagents, composite materials, allows to uparivat solutions dry.
The system consists of one, two or three 2-position microwave blocks (respectively 2, 4 or 6-position), the block of pumps, system of catching of vapors, management system and a set of vessels.
The microwave block includes a radiation source (magnetron) and a wave guide in which reactionary vessels are placed. Each vessel is controlled irrespective of others according to own program as has the temperature sensor connected with system of power control of the magnetron and giving of radiation on each cell. It gives the chance at the same time to decompose different samples by different techniques.
The system of definition of existence of a vessel in a cell prevents inclusion of heating and supply of reagent without the installed vessel.
Among programmable parameters - number of heating stages, maximum temperature of reactionary mix at each stage, temperature hoisting speed, hold time of reactionary mix at the set temperature. Also data on sample type, its weight, the used reagents and their volumes are entered in the program. In memory of the STARplus system the main techniques of decomposition are previously put.
For each reactionary cell the display and the keyboard for a task of parameters of decomposition and control of process is provided. The system has the internal memory for storage of 20 techniques. It is in addition possible to order a computer control system and the printer.
The dosed adding in reactionary mix of acids and other aggressive reagents happens automatically (by means of pumps) and completely excludes contact of the operator with harmful substances. The system of catching of vapors is compact and allows to install the module on a normal table without hood.
Systems can be completed with vessels of different capacity (50, 100 or 250 ml) from different material (Pyrex, quartz, teflon). There are also measured vessels for decomposition on 100 or 50 ml which allow to exclude a stage of transfer of solution after decomposition in a measured flask.
There is also a modification of CleanSTAR for preparation of tests of high-pure materials (semiconductors, high-pure chemical compounds, etc.) for determination of ultralow concentration of impurity.
CleanSTAR is arranged as a miniature clean room: each vessel is supplied with the individual vacuum line with the NERA-filter or is blown by pure nitrogen and allows to avoid pollution of samples. The CleanSTAR system does not demand the place under an extract and can be placed in a clean room. Depending on type of samples the CleanSTAR system can be completed with ultra-pure teflon or quartz vessels.
