Davis 6620 Vantage Connect Module
The Vantage Connect module allows to transmit quickly data from remote meteorological stations of Davis through the built-in GSM modem.
The Vantage Connect module transfers data on weather conditions from remote sites, such as: rest houses, orchards, farms, vineyards, zones of the increased risk of emergence of the fires, and also from places where there is no opportunity, or involvement of personnel for registration of weather conditions is inexpedient.
The Vantage Connect module gives to the user the chance to have access to weather data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in any place where there is a connection to the Internet. It is possible to look through data by means of the smartphone, the tablet or the personal computer.
The Vantage Connect module can be programmed on sending the warning signals, by means of e-mail or text messages that gives the chance to the user to define and control risks of negative consequences from such weather conditions as:
- Frosts and influence of low temperatures
- Influence of high temperatures
- Influence of strong wind
- Plentiful rainfall
The Vantage Connect module is completely compatible to program Davis Integrated Pest Management (IPM) modules.
Food of Vantage Connect is carried out by means of solar batteries with a reserve battery, do not demand an external power source.
It is delivered in the protective case, resistant to external environment.
Includes the assembly equipment, the software of WeatherLink and the capacious rechargeable battery.
On the basis of the annual service contract *, loads and transmits data on weather conditions through mobile connection on the website WeatherLink.com, with an interval of 5, 15 or 60 minutes, depending on the chosen service contract.
Informs the user the warning signal, on weather conditions as soon as they reach the set limits.
Let's combine with meteorological stations of Davis' Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS).
